Hi, we are Animationseries2000, an artist duo based in Hamburg working across painting, installation, illustration, animation, and comics.
Our work explores the aesthetics of everyday consumer life—tracing the absurd and the banal in the things we consume every day. Using vibrant colors and a visual language inspired by early digital drawing programs, we create paintings, animations, installations, and printed matter that merge into immersive audiovisual experiences.
This shop brings together our comics, art prints, shirts, and other creative goods originating from the world of the Budny and Rossman web series and installation project, which has been evolving since 2016.
Our work has been exhibited in Hamburg, London, Milan, and Copenhagen, and our animated films have screened at international festivals. We also illustrate for publications such as DIE ZEIT, The New York Times, and Suhrkamp Theater Magazine. Our work has been featured by Grafikmagazin, It's Nice That, and Munchies Art Club.
